Can Muslims really be Terrorists ?
What
Does ‘Islam’ Mean?
“Islam” is an Arabic term which means to submit one’s will to
the will of God. Islam is a monotheistic religion that teaches that there is only one divine being, one supreme Creator of the universe. Muslims believe that Islam is the true religion of God revealed to humanity. It is a universal religion that can be practiced by anyone at any time and in every place. The central concept of this way of life is total submission to God.

Islam is a complete, holistic way of living that covers every aspect of
life. Islam leaves no stone unturned as it teaches mankind on how to behave in
every area of life: individual, social, material, moral, ethical, legal,
cultural, political, economic, and global
What
is a Muslim?
A Muslim is anyone who submits their will to the one and only true God
who is worthy of
worship, “Allah” (God). A Muslim also believes in the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the last and final prophet of God. By submitting oneself and worshiping Allah (God), a Muslim attains peace through obedience to his commandments. Peace is a natural result of submitting to the will of Allah.

For a person to become a Muslim and accept Islam as their faith, they
must say and believe in the following phrase:
لآ اِلَهَ اِلّا اللّهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُوُل اللّهِ
La ilaha illa Allah. Muhammad rasool Allah
La ilaha illa Allah. Muhammad rasool Allah
This sentence literally means “There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is
His messenger.” The sentence also means “There is none worthy of worship except
Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger.” The moment a person says this phrase and
begins to act upon it they become a Muslim.
WHAT JIHAD IS?
The Arabic word
"jihad" is often translated as "holy war," but in a purely
linguistic sense, the
word " jihad" means struggling or striving.
The Arabic word for war is:
"al-harb".
In a religious sense, as
described by the Quran and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (s),
"jihad" has many meanings. It can refer
to internal as well as external efforts to be a good Muslims or believer,
as well as working to inform people about the faith of Islam.
If military jihad is
required to protect the faith against others, it can be performed using
anything from legal, diplomatic and economic to political means. If there is no
peaceful alternative, Islam also allows the use of force, but there are strict
rules of engagement. Innocents - such as women,
children, or invalids - must never be harmed, and any peaceful overtures from
the enemy must be accepted.
Military action is
therefore only one means of jihad, and is very rare. To highlight this point,
the Prophet Mohammed told his followers returning from a military campaign:
"This day we have returned from the minor jihad to the major jihad,"
which he said meant returning from armed battle to the peaceful battle for
self-control and betterment.
WHAT JIHAD IS NOT
· Jihad is not a declaration of war against
other religions. It is worth noting that the Koran specifically refers to Jews
and Christians as "people of the book" who should be protected and
respected. All three faiths worship
the same God. Allah is just the Arabic word for God, and is used by Christian
Arabs as well as Muslims.
· Military action in the name of Islam has not been
common in the history of Islam. Scholars says most
calls for violent jihad are not sanctioned by Islam.
· Warfare in the name of God is not unique to Islam.
Other faiths throughout the world have waged wars with religious justifications.
Let’s tell some Islam facts
·
Followers of Islam are
called Muslims.
·
Muslims worship one,
all-knowing God, who in Arabic is known as Allah.
·
Followers of Islam aim to
live a life of complete submission to Allah. They believe that nothing can
happen without Allah’s permission, but humans have free will.
·
Islam teaches that Allah’s
word was revealed to the prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel.
·
Muslims believe several
prophets were sent to teach Allah’s law. They respect some of the same prophets
as Jews and Christians, including Abraham, Moses, Noah and Jesus. Muslims
contend that Muhammad was the final prophet.
·
Mosques are places where
Muslims worship.
·
Some important Islamic holy
places include the Kaaba shrine in Mecca, the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, and the Prophet Muhammad’s mosque in Medina.
·
The Quran is the major holy
text of Islam. The Hadith is another important book. Muslims also revere some
material found in the Judeo-Christian Bible.
·
Followers worship Allah by
praying and reciting the Quran. They believe there will be a day of judgment,
and life after death.
·
A central idea in Islam is
“jihad,” which means “struggle.” While the term has been used negatively in
mainstream culture, Muslims believe it refers to internal and external efforts
to defend their faith. Although rare, this can include military jihad if a
“just war” is needed.
Islam on Peace
Peace is
associated in the Qur'an with God, making it the defining feature of the life
intended for
humanity, to be fully realized ultimately in the next life. Islam recognizes corruption as endemic to humanity and the need for force to maintain political and social peace, within and across societies. Early biographies of the Prophet Muhammad suggest that while he waged war, he always sought a just peace—sometimes over the protests of his companions. Considerable confusion attaches to the concept of jihad, which can be translated as either spiritual or armed struggle. During the early centuries of Islam, scholars set ethical limits on war-making. Intentions had to be pure, and not just self-interested, and the use of force had to be absolutely necessary, for example, to protect the religious community, preserve justice, or defend territory. Therefore, jihad to extend the abode of Islam was driven more by imperial than by religious considerations. The Qur’an forbids coercion in religious affairs: “There is no compulsion in religion.” (Qur’an 2:256) and killing a life without cause is equivalent to

"killing the whole human race"
(Qur’an 5:32).
The life of the
Holy Prophet, peace be on him, was a life of grand success. In his high moral
qualities, his spiritual power, his high resolve, the excellence and perfection
of his teaching, his perfect example and the acceptance of his prayers, in
short, in every aspect of his life, he exhibited such bright signs that even a
person of low intelligence, provided he is not inspired by unreasonable rancor
and enmity, is forced to confess that he was a perfect example of the
manifestation of Divine qualities and was a perfect man.
What is Terrorism?
According to Wikipedia, Terrorism is, in the
broadest sense, the use of intentionally indiscriminate violence as a means to
create terror among masses of people; or fear to achieve a religious or
political aim. It is used in this regard primarily to refer to violence
during peacetime or in war
against non-combatants (mostly civilians and neutral military
personnel).
Terrorist groups use violence
and threats of violence to publicize their causes and as a means to achieve
their goals. They often aim to influence or exert pressure on governments and
government policies but reject democratic processes, or even democracy itself.
In present world common people
believed that Muslims means terrorism which is totally wrong because Islam mean
peace and the people who flow Islam, he or she can’t do any kind of activities
like the terrorists are doing in this period of time. If we saw IS, Al-Qaeda
activity we can’t found any match with
the Islam that Allah told us to flow. We can’t find anything that the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam invite us.
This terrorist group killed
innocent, raped women, every year thousands of children died for them, they
don’t even know what’s their fault is. How could a Muslim do that kind of activity?
According to Al-Quran, Allah
said:
The believing men and believing women are allies of one another.
They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and
give charity and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have mercy upon them,
for Allah is Almighty and Wise.
Surat al-Tawba 9:71
According to
this sentence from Al-Quran we can clearly say that all Muslims are in a
relationship like brother. Allah says about brotherhood. So, how could one brother kills others?
Islam is a
religion of mercy to all people, both Muslims and non-Muslims. The
Prophet was described as being a mercy in the Quran due to the message he
brought for humanity:
"And We have not sent
you but as a mercy to all the worlds." (Quran 21:107)
What Does Islam
say about non-Muslims right?
These just
relations between Muslims and people of other faiths were not due to mere
politics played by Muslim rulers, but rather they were a direct result of the
teachings of the religion of Islam, one which preaches that people of other
religions be free to practice their own faith, only accepting the guidance
offered by Islam by their own choice. Allah says in the Quran:
"There
is no compulsion in religion…" (Quran 2:256)
Not only does
Islam demand their freedom to practice religion, but also that they be treated
justly as any other fellow human. Warning against any abuse of non-Muslims
in an Islamic society, the Prophet stated:
"Beware! Whoever
is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, curtails their rights, burdens them
with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free
will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on
the Day of Judgment." (Abu Dawud)
As Allah define every stage of our life in Al-Quran
and there is nothing where Allah says about what the terrorist believed at
present. Allah also define that right of a non-Muslims and in Quran Allah says "There is no compulsion
in religion…" (Quran 2:256) so
how could a Muslim force a non-Muslim to converted or to misbehave with him?
God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with
those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of
your homes. God loves just dealers. (Quran, 60:8)
The Prophet Muhammad used to prohibit soldiers
from killing women and children, and he would advise them:
...Do not betray, do not be excessive, do not kill a new-born child.
And he also said:
Whoever has killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims shall not
smell the fragrance of Paradise, though its fragrance is found for a span of
forty years.
Also, the Prophet Muhammad has forbidden
punishment with fire.4
He once listed murder as the second of the major
sins,5and
he even warned that on the Day of Judgment,
The first cases to be adjudicated between people on the Day of Judgment
will be those of bloodshed.
Muslims are even encouraged to be kind to animals
and are forbidden to hurt them. Once the Prophet Muhammad said:
A woman was punished
because she imprisoned a cat until it died. On account of this, she was
doomed to Hell. While she imprisoned it, she did not give the cat food or
drink, nor did she free it to eat the insects of the earth.
After reading all this We can clearly asked a
question how can a perfect Muslim killed innocent children, raped women?

The Deadliest Terrorist Groups In The World Today
and their killing record of 2017.
1. Islamic State – 4,350 deaths in 2017
2.
The Taliban – 3,571 deaths in 2017
3.
Al-Shabaab – 1,457 deaths in 2017
4. Boko Haram – 1,254 deaths in 2017

Islam teaches tolerance not hatred: universal
brotherhood not enmity: peace not Violence. Islam prohibits causing harm either
in words or actions to any non-Muslim seeking covenant or protection in the
Muslim dominion. Islam also intimidates and imposes a harsh penalty on those
who cause harm to him.
After killing this massive number of
innocents How could anyone told that I am Muslims?
Because in my eyes a Muslims can’t do it…
